The Malcesine - Monte Baldo cable car is divided into two parts. The first section starting from Malcesine (90 metres above sea level) and arriving at San Michele (562 metres above sea level) is 1,512 metres long and covers a difference in altitude of 463 metres.. The view at the top of monte Baldo was exceptional with views all across Lake Garda. There were also paraglides taking off from the top to add to the experience and views. There are a couple of bars and cafes at the top with reasonable prices. Overall the mountain is well worth a visit, just prepared to be squished in the cable car
